Setting Your Short, Mid & Long-Term Goals

  • Complete a few solo practice sessions and get comfortable with the car.
  • Participate in a simulated AI race to experience race conditions.
  • Choose a Rookie Series (Mazda MX-5, Toyota BR86, or BMW M2) and complete a few practice races.
  • Maintain a clean Safety Rating (SR) by avoiding incidents.

Mid-Term Goals (First 3-6 Months)

  • Develop consistency in lap times and improve car control.
  • Compete in official Rookie races while maintaining a good iRating and SR.
  • Learn basic racecraft: overtaking, defensive driving, and race etiquette.
  • Identify weaknesses and work on specific skills, such as braking points and cornering techniques.
  • Move up to a higher license class (D or C) while keeping incident points low.

Long-Term Goals (6+ Months and Beyond)

  • Become competitive in higher-license series with more experienced drivers.
  • Explore different car classes and racing disciplines (GT, Open Wheel, Oval, Dirt, etc.).
  • Participate in endurance races or special events.
